Morning Wood May 17/2010

Here's things that are going to make it tough to pee when I wake up tommorrow.

1. Suns-Lakers game 1.  Ooooh baby am I jacked for this one.  Finally my boy Stevie Nash makes it past the Spurs and is through to the conference finals.  I've wanted Nash and the Suns to make the finals for the last five years more then most guys want to get laid on prom.  Conversely I hate the Lakers on the same level I hate body hair.  Nobody is really giving the Suns a chance in this series, but upon further look I think they have a shot.  The Lakers point guard is Derek Fisher......The Suns is Steve Nash......'nuff said.  Grant Hill can hopefully contain Kobe as much as possible leaving Amare Stoudamire and the Suns bench mob to handle the rest of the Lakers.  Let's be honest though, the real reason I'm excited about this series is so I get to see Adam Morrison sit on the Lakers bench and hopefully do this after a Suns series win......

2. Jays-Twins.  I will be attending the Jays-Twins game, which will be my first live look at Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau.  This has morning wood written all over it.  The Jays are on fire right now, making homeruns look as easy as picking up a broad on Queen West at 2am.  Dana Eveland goes to the mound for the Jays, and he's probably pitching for his job, because to put it mildly he has SUCKED lately.  All this adds up to a blue jay bonerriffic time for me and probably 10 000 other people at the Rogers Center.

3. Mets-Braves.  It's a tough time to be wearing Mets t-shirt jerseys right now.  The Mets pitching staff other then Johan Santana and Mike Pelfrey has as much talent as the one member of the Jersey Shore.  I'd rather have a root canal then watch Nieve or Niese pitch.  New rule for the Mets should be nobody with a last name starting with 'N' should be allowed to pitch.  I need some Carlos Beltran in my life and I need it now.  Thankfully Pelfrey is pitching tonight and we are playing the Braves who are just as atrocious, should be a dandy!

4. Obie Trice.  So every now and then I go on a random downloading binge of music or bring out one of my old rap cd's.  Well tommorrow's has been selected already and it's going to be Obie Trice- Cheers.  It's definitely on my "turn the cd on and throw away the remote control" list of great cd's start to finish.  Dana Eveland and Mike Pelfrey could both pitch perfect games tommorrow and the best hour of my day will still be spent with Obie.

And of course let's not forget the Babe of the Week.......Hayden Panettiere
